Dashboard Confessional – Dusk and Summer

It’s rather embarrassing how much I love this album.  How every year since its release, as soon as the weather turns from winter to spring, I put this album on and dream of summer and all of it’s promise.  I dream of fireflies and lush greens everywhere.  I dream of a breeze to break up the hot summertime air.  I dream of a beautiful woman, popping out from underneath the water, waiting for a crisp refreshing drink.  I DREAM OF BEER.  Yes, I’m 31, and yes, I feel silly listening to an album a 14-year-old girl was probably gaga over, but God damn, this album is so GOD DAMNED good.
